There are a vast array of bite-sized dumpling dishes produced for Japanese and Chinese meals. They can be made in a variety of ways, with many choices of filling and shapes. They are perfect to make as a fun, communal activity or simply to serve to your guests!
In this class you will be guided by our expert tutor, who will show you how to make three popular dumplings:
- Gyoza - crafted from scratch, you will also be guided through making the dough for the wrappers.
- Wontons with Sichuan oil - as well as learning to create the wontons, you will work with aromatics to create your own Sichuan oil.
- Nui Rou Xian Bing - you will be given hints and tips for creating the golden, crisp crust and a juicy, fragrant beef filling, these dumplings are known for.
Impress your friends and family by learning how to make a variety of authentic dumplings and enjoy the fruits of your labour as part of your lunch!
